Stylist Spotlight
Amy Hooper
Owner/Stylist
Amy is our head stylist and fierce, She's been creating happy hair for 26 years. She is engaged and they have five beautiful daughters. and is a Mimi to her first grandson who is 2. They are her everything! She also has three dogs and two cats
She has owned ShearHeaven since 2020. Before this, Amy worked for herself and managed multiple salons through the years.
She graduated from hair school with 2000 hours and attends educational salon training at least two times a year. She also participates in a hair show where she can showcase her different colors, cuts, and styling techniques.
She is now a Ambassador with Duomo Color that we use in the salon.
She is also verified in Dream Catchers extensions, Brazilian blowouts, and keratin complex smoothing treatments!
She specializes in curly hair and very color technique that is out there.
In her personal life, she loves to play sports and board games. She loves the outdoors, kayaking, swimming, and tanning. She loves hanging out with friends and family and traveling when she can.

Jerrica Kinnard
Hair Stylist
Jerrica is a one of our amazing New Talent Stylist with a deep passion for creativity, connection, and all things beauty. In her role, she loves helping guests feel not just beautiful, but truly seen and heard. Whether she’s supporting stylists behind the chair, creating thoughtful handmade cards for clients, or curating content that reflects her vibrant style, Jerrica brings heart and intention to every part of the salon experience.
Grateful for a path she never expected, Jerrica has found a place where her talents shine and her love for people flourishes. She’s excited to continue growing in the industry and connecting with even more amazing clients along the way.
Outside the salon, Jerrica enjoys plants, the color green, nature walks, thrifting, and penpaling. Her current goals include starting a junk journal, posting more reels, creating more personal artwork, and kicking off a morning workout routine as the weather warms up.
Brianna Coonce
Hair Stylist
Brianna is One of our amazing Level 1 Stylist. She chose a career in this industry because helping people feel beautiful inside and out has always been a passion of mine. From a young age, she found joy in creating french braids and simple styles for family and friends, and I quickly realized how much I loved working with hair. Over the years, hairstyling has become more than just a profession for me it’s a creative outlet and a way to connect with others on a deeper level. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone leave my chair feeling confident, cared for, and truly beautiful.Bri is also certified in Keratin Complex Smoothing treatments.
Outside of the salon, I enjoy spending time shopping, taking peaceful walks, watching sunsets, or unwinding with a good book.
Emily Messer
Hair Stylist
Emily is one of our amazing New Talent Stylist .She chose cosmetology because She's always had a passion for beauty, creativity, and helping others feel their best. Ever since she was little,She's loved experimenting with hair, hairstyles, and seeing how a simple change can completely transform someone’s confidence and mood. What she loves most about this industry is the ability to connect with people on a personal level while creating something unique for each client. Every day is different, and she gets to express her creativity through color, cuts, and styling while making others feel beautiful inside and out. It’s more than just doing hair it’s about making people feel special and confident in who they are.
Her absolute favorite thing to do is perms. She loves the transformation and texture they bring, and seeing the final result never gets old. It’s a perfect mix technique, and personality all in one. whenever She's not working, and its nice outside I like to walk/run, or just play with my dogs outside,and I love to cook and try new things.
