Our Mission Statment
We believe beauty begins inside each and every one of us. With pure intentions, we bring passion and fun to every client experience. Every guest receives a relaxing, intentional service, our service providers are trained to listen and evaluate the needs of each client through a thorough consultation. At Shear Heaven Salon, guests will receive high-quality service and products, specifically executed with love and care. We love to help our community by giving back specifically to domestic violence victims.
Stylist Spotlight
Amy Hooper
Owner and Operator
Amy is our head stylist and leader, she's been creating happy hair for 23 years. She has three beautiful daughters. and is a Mimi to her first grandchild! They are her everything! She also has three dogs and two cats
She has owned ShearHeaven since 2020. Before this, Amy worked for herself and managed multiple salons.
She graduated from hair school with 2000 hours and attends educational salon training at least two times a year. She also participates in a hair show where she can showcase her different colors, cuts, and styling techniques.
She is also verified in Dream Catchers extensions, Brazilian blowouts, and keratin complex smoothing treatments!
She specializes in curly hair, coloring, cutting, and blonde hair.
In her personal life, she loves to play sports and board games. She loves the outdoors, kayaking, swimming, and tanning. She loves hanging out with friends and family and traveling when she can.

Julia entered the cosmetology business because she has always believed in the power of beauty to transform not just appearances, but lives. Her passion lies in enhancing natural beauty and helping others feel confident, radiant, and ready to take on the world. Whether it’s through stunning makeup looks, perfectly applied lashes, or creating memories on a bride’s special day, Julia loves using her skills to make people feel their absolute best. Cosmetology allows her to combine creativity, artistry, and a heartfelt commitment to serving others. She is inspired by the opportunity to bring out each client’s inner and outer beauty, embracing the uniqueness of every individual. For Julia, this isn’t just a career—it’s a way to empower others and spread joy through the art of beauty.
Jerirca Shehane
Salon Assistant
Jerrica is the salon assistant with a deep passion for creativity, connection, and all things beauty. In her role, she loves helping guests feel not just beautiful, but truly seen and heard. Whether she’s supporting stylists behind the chair, creating thoughtful handmade cards for clients, or curating content that reflects her vibrant style, Jerrica brings heart and intention to every part of the salon experience.
Grateful for a path she never expected, Jerrica has found a place where her talents shine and her love for people flourishes. She’s excited to continue growing in the industry and connecting with even more amazing clients along the way.
Outside the salon, Jerrica enjoys plants, the color green, nature walks, thrifting, and penpaling. Her current goals include starting a junk journal, posting more reels, creating more personal artwork, and kicking off a morning workout routine as the weather warms up.
